== Formatting and styling ==

I strongly disagree with the latest changes to the page. The look-and-feel of the entire wiki should be left consistent, over all the pages. By using colors and manipulating font-szes, you are creating two serious problems.

First, I will not spend any minute manually revising the style of each already created page. CSS has been invented for that job, we should use it and stick to it.

Second, for people like me using a user-agent styling system, you are nullifying their effort for making the site comfortable to use and read. Right now, the Main page has become totally unreadable for me and for the players using my Stylish extension.

The rules I use to add or edit content :

  • Never format headings, neither color nor font-sizes. If something needs to change for those elements, then it has to be done globally in the site's CSS stylesheet, not on individual pages.
  • Never color anything. Same logic, if something needs to be changed, then globally, not locally. The only exception being cases where you know exactly that you want to set both foreground and background colors (for instance, the nt* templates I created, which generate ACGU)

Since no debate is occurring, I'm reverting the changes now.
