Polymerase

 

Polymerases are small nanomachines in cells that makes copies of the DNA. A DNA polymerase is an enzyme that makes a DNA copy from a DNA template and a RNA polymerase is an enzyme that makes a RNA copy from a DNA template. Polymerases gets used for a lot of lab processes too - also in the generation of our lab data.
