  • Login at the top right ( requires EteRNA Registration, see above ). Then you can post in the Forums using the box in the top center of the screen
  • Choose from tabs "Share an idea", "Report a problem", or "Give praise".

 

TRACK

Roadmap

  • Update the summary and status of the issue in the EteRNA Forums using this Issue Template.
  • Enter any issue under active development into this Issue Roadmap, for an eagle-eye reference of current milestones.

Dev Chat

  • You can check for the next scheduled Dev Chat in EteRNA News, also accessible through the Community drop-down menu at the top of the page.  
  • Login or Register at the bottom left. Then you can ask developers questions using Chat, which is accessible at the top right.
  • Record and access transcripts in this Dev Chat Archive.

GitHub

  • Once a bug or feature has been approved for exploration during Dev Chat, it will be entered by the developers into EteRNA GitHub
  • Browse, or use the Search field at the top left-center of the screen.

 

OVERVIEW

Here is a summary to map out the global workflow

  • 1) Players use the Issues portal to Research & Communicate.
  • 2) Players use the Forums & Issue Template to Track issues
  • 3) Players use the Issue Roadmap to update global Priority, Status, etc... of issues.
  • 4) Players & Devs use Dev Chat to consult about high priority issues, referencing the Issue Roadmap.
  • 5) Players or Devs use the Wiki Dev Chat page to archive transcripts.
  • 6) Players or Devs use the Issue Roadmap to update agreed upon Priority, Status, etc... after Dev Chat.
  • 7) Players keep Forums updated with granular details.
  • 8) Devs keep GitHub updated, with option to pull action items & details from Forums & Issue Roadmap. 
  • 9) Devs use ??? to update players when an issue is resolved. ( Looking into Issue Roadmap for central reporting. )
