Welcome to EteRNA University!

This page and class system are under construction.

Eterna University is a program in which players teach classes to other players. Sessions are usually held on Wednesdays at 6pm EST when there is no Dev Chat (and sometimes afterwords if there is one). Content of these courses are whatever someone volunteers to teach, however agrivated towards Eterna's tools and related topics. If someone wishes to teach something unrelated, this is accepted as well, though the primary time slot (non Dev Chat nights at 6pm EST) is reserved for Eterna-related projects unless no one is teaching that type of class. TEachers are also welcome to do a series of classes if they need more than one.

Participants can suggest topics of discussion for future classes. The teacher/moderator of the class is on a rotating basis, as this is a collaborative effort. We are also actively looking to gain new teachers, so please come and volunteer! Community members may teach a class about their specialty, whatever it may be. Curriculum is then posted here in the wiki for reference. If additional formatting is required, you may link to a Google doc. Authors retain full rights to the curriculum. Its inclusion in the wiki is optional, though is encouraged for preserving these efforts and to be made available to players once the class is no longer Live. To sign up to teach a class, please post in this topic: https://getsatisfaction.com/eternagame/topics/would_you_like_to_teach_an_eterna_university_class

It is planned that Eterna University will also expand to a full section on the main Eterna site, and serve as a place for organizing player guides, tutorials, these classes, and any other Eterna learning materials.

Next Class (See talk page for other upcoming courses)

Topic: Lab scoring using flip method

Teacher: Jnicol

Date: March 12th, 2014 / 6 or 7pm EST (Depending on if there is a Dev Chat)
