Bacteria

A bacteria is a microorganism. Scientist often use bacteria to study how genes and life in general works. The reason why is because bacteria has a much smaller genome than humans and animals. So they are simpler to figure out things in. Also they reproduce much faster and one can't do breading experiments in humans, for obvious ethical reasons.
